Information completeness.

Measures how much current, source-backed information Mizan has verified about this listing. It does not rate the provider or tell you whether the provider is suitable for you.

Version: information-2026-10-01-v1. A listing score describes the reviewed services in that profile; it is not a score for every product or a comparison of financial quality. Verification level describes review depth separately.

Editorial sources, corrections and review

Mizan publishes general information and attributed provider claims. We prioritise official provider documents and Australian public authorities. A source date describes a check, not an endorsement or certification. We do not invent authors, qualifications, ratings or missing product details.

Provider evidence is reviewed against its recorded due date; expired evidence loses verification credit. Availability, amounts, fees, regulatory information and product governance require priority review when a notice changes. Evergreen category guides have a monthly editorial review target. Updating navigation does not reset a financial source-check date.

New generated pages require a distinct user question, at least three unique source-backed facts, current evidence, explicit unknowns, a useful next step and editorial approval. Passing a numeric threshold alone is insufficient. Unapproved combinations are not created; reserved generated routes are noindex by default. We do not generate city doorway pages.

Report a specific page and current source to info@mizan.au. Corrections are reviewed before publication. No correction form is active. Commercial payments do not influence editorial priority or provider ordering.

How points are earned

Each pillar’s weight is shared equally between its criteria. Only an explicitly reviewed criterion with a source, checked date and unexpired review date earns points. Missing, unknown and stale evidence earn zero. We round the total to the nearest whole point. Read the profile for each credited criterion and source.

Identity covers legal entity, identifiers, regulatory evidence and role. Service availability means its documented status—including a pause or waitlist—not that you can obtain it. Sharia-governance points describe available evidence, never religious quality or a certification by Mizan. An attributed provider claim can establish its stated governance approach; it does not establish independent certification.

Fairness across categories

The five pillars apply to home finance, business finance, superannuation and investments. Amount means finance bounds or contribution/investment bounds; contribution means deposit, funding or contribution rules; geography means residency/distribution scope; eligibility means documented access conditions; costs means published fees or pricing. No category receives points merely because information is assumed inapplicable. A score is not a cross-category product recommendation. A disclosed conflict earns the disclosure criterion only; disputed terms earn no points.

How conversational results are ordered

AI interprets the question. The deterministic search layer orders approved listings: category match (40) plus documented service match (30), then the count of supported amount/geography/advertised-enquiry criteria, then information completeness, then last-checked date, then a stable alphabetical slug tie-breaker. The AI cannot reorder those results.

Amounts are factual document checks, not affordability or eligibility assessments. A property value is not necessarily the amount of finance needed. Unverified criteria remain visible and do not earn matching credit. Known out-of-range amounts are disclosed, never silently treated as a match. The raw directory defaults to A–Z without a query.

Commercial relationships, commissions, advertising, founder contacts and bank size have zero weight and are not inputs to either calculation. No pay-to-rank. Personalised recommendations, applications and referrals remain disabled.
